Avery is a 7th generation Galvestonian, descendant of the Skarke and Wimhurst families. In 2023, Avery had a life changing experience due to chronic illness (systemic mastocytosis) that set a trajectory of passion for the culinary arts. With his love of food, he has had to learned how to cook healthy, preservative free and low histamine dishes. Avery’s cookies are family recipes and loved by all who try them.
